Rajiv Gandhi Shram Awards
Delhi Labour Welfare Board intends to confer Rajiv Gandhi Sharm Awards on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna (late) Sh. Rajiv Gandhi. There shall be two cash awards, one of Rs one lac and another of Rs 50,000 alongwith commendation certificates to be awarded to the persons/social workers/media persons/trade unionists, who have dedicated their lives for the cause of upliftment and welfare of under privileged workers community. The nomination for these awards are therefore invited in the prescribed proforma available at Board's Office and website of the Board. The nomination forms completed in all respect must reach in the office of the Board.

It may be noted that :

1. | The award shall be conferred on 20th August, on the occasion of Late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The award carries a cash award of Rs. One Lakh for a trade union leader and Rs. 50,000 for a trade unionist / journalist / media person who has dedicated his/her life to the cause of welfare of the under privileged labourers. |
2. | The nomination may reach in the office of the Chairman, Delhi Labour Welfare Board, 5 sham Nath Marg, New Delhi-by registered post. |
3. | The decision of the Jury constituted by the Delhi Labour Welfare Board will be final and cannot be challenged in any court of Law. |
4. | The nomination without signature of the nominee shall not be considered. |
